I took the plunge.

I submitted my application for a job as a nurses assistant at the hospital. Now I’m scared that I’ll get the job. I don’t like the job description. But their health insurance, a steady paycheck and pre-packaged hours so that I don’t have to guess which shift I’ll be working from one day to the next.

One huge downfall: I’ll have to work from 3-11pm, which means I’ll only see B.J. for a half hour every morning. Could be a good thing, though. We don’t get along as well as we could so maybe this time away from each other will help our relationship.

It’s going to be tricky going from full time unemployed to full time employed. I hope that it won’t cause too much stress on my family.

I guess I’m looking forward to rejoining the work force. It just makes me nervous as hell to think about it.
